When I first wanted to start a blog, I had no idea what it would be about. I love music, fashion, makeup and everything that has to do with current events and the legal profession. However, i’m sure there’s a blog for each and every one of these topics out there. The more I tried to think of something, the more I talked myself out of it. How would I be able to separate myself from the rest, and still express my love for all the things that make me who I am? Then it hit me. Why limit myself to just one topic, why not combine everything into one, and share my joy, passion, love and frustration with everything life has to throw my way to the world. Maybe my Blog will reach someone and touch someone in a way none other has before.

With this revelation I found myself here, a look into the life of a City girl, living in a country world. One where nothing seems to ever go right but will always be completely in style with makeup on point and a smile to go along with it.

Before we get into any actual posts, it seems only right to give some background of the person behind the words. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I spent my nights practicing with my dance team and my days striving to get to become the best and most badass attorney to walk the face of the earth. I studied, sacrificed, devoted everything I had, until eventually after it seemed like it was never going to happen, I made it to law school and Graduated with my Juris Doctorate. Step one of the dream complete. Now onto getting this license and getting to work on putting my mark on the world.

Lets backtrack a little because getting to this point in life was not an easy task. There were many times when I was told I would never make it. There were many times I was denied. There were life obstacles in the way, family illnesses and then of course my own illness. However, though all the adversity I never let any of this get me down. I kept pushing and fighting until I was able to finally see that dream come true.

I plan to take you on this continuous journey i’m on of finding myself in this world. Achieving this final goal i’ve set out on. Along this journey, we will explore new styles, trends, and new ways to take care of the most important thing, YOURSELF. We will also take a look at life itself. The things that we’re the most passionate about, things that most people shy away from talking about, things that make people uncomfortable but need to be talked about. Let’s go on this journey together and look FANTASTIC while doing it.
